It's time to update all of Paizo's content! With all the content released by Paizo headquarters, even if you follow the release calendar on the Paizo website, there is a lot to keep track of. So, I am here to give you a brief review of some Pathfinder and Starfinder news and releases that you may have missed!

I have written here about previous iterations of Pathfinder Second Edition Bestiary Battle Cards, so you can imagine that I have similar feelings about the recently released Bestiary 3 Battle Cards. In fact, you are right. These cards are one of my favorite accessories on the table. It not only shortened my preparation time, but also provided players with excellent visual effects.

This set of cards includes all the creatures in Pathfinder Section Edition Bestiary 3, which means you will get more than 300 monsters on a 4×6 card. For creatures with extended attribute blocks, they will actually occupy more than one card. Twice the art is twice as good!

If you are a game manager and need to prepare for encounters, just find the necessary cards from the deck and create a stack for yourself. After making custom cards for my players, I even use the stack as an active tracker. In this way, I will never be confused about whose turn it is or who can use what abilities.

Due to the abundance of creatures inside, the entire box is heavy. If you have two other Bestiary Battle Cards, you will definitely want to add this one to your arsenal. If you don’t have any combat cards yet, the benefit of Bestiary 3 is that it has some of the more weird entries in Pathfinder Bestiary. You can check which creatures are in which bag at any time to make sure that what you pick up allows you to run farther.

There are dragons so...what are you waiting for?

You can find Pathfinder Second Edition Bestiary 3 Battle Cards on Paizo.com or on your FLGS.

Hero points were introduced in Pathfinder 1st Edition and then became part of the basic rules of Pathfinder Second Edition. Functionally, they are designed to reward the player's creativity, excellent role-playing, or any other positive addition to the story on the table. With Pathfinder hero points decks, you can expand the versatility of hero points by giving them more value, not just a new check.

In addition to normal effects, the deck also includes 52 random gifts that players can use. For example, you can use Grazing Blow cards to reduce critical hits to regular hits, or reduce regular hits to minimal damage. Or you can play healing prayer, which can be used as a healing spell for allies within the healing range.

The versatility of expanding hero points makes them even more exciting. Moreover, if you happen to get a card that is not really suitable for a situation your character may encounter, you can cash it out at any time to get the normal hero point effect.

Overall, this deals with several important aspects of hero points, making them worth including on your table:

Starfinder and Pathfinder Adventure Paths keep moving towards their inevitable conclusions! Most notably, with the release of the Shadow of the Ancients, the power of the second edition of Adventure Road is coming to an end in December. This adventure is perfectly matched with the book "The Lost Omen: Mwangi Expanse". This is a wonderful adventure, and I am very happy to see how it all ended.

For Starfinder, Vast Horizon added its fourth issue in December. This adventure path has some similarities with the first version of the adventure path, Azlant Ruins, but overall it is much better. It is full of mystery and intrigue, and is an important addition to your adventure path collection. This planet has everything!

Glass Cannon Network recently ended their live show Androids & Aliens. They have been playing Paizo’s Dead Suns Adventure Path for several years and broadcast their conclusions live on Twitch on December 3rd.

This makes it the best time to catch up and listen to the entire series! You can find the complete content wherever you get the podcast, or you can view the accompanying video content on the GCN website. Of course, it took a long time for GCN to complete the adventure—in contrast, the Cosmic Crit Podcast entered their fourth AP in the same time span—but they were able to tell in the Pact Worlds/Starfinder galaxy A valuable story.

We have provided complete articles about several other recent editions, and I will not repeat all this information again. Instead, I will delete some links to the complete article so that you can pick the ones that interest you most:

Paizo is always doing great things, but we still have two upcoming Lost Omens series and I am really excited.

We recently received the book "The Grand Bazaar", and now we have got a whole book dedicated to the city where it is located: Absalom. Looking forward to the Lost Omen: Absalom, the Lost City of Omens book will be released in mid-December. The scale of this book is bound to be huge, and it is a must for game administrators preparing any city-centric game.

Then we will launch "Lost Omen: Monsters in Mythology" in mid-December for a complete 180-degree test. I assume that this book is similar to "The Lost Omen: Legend", except that it is about the legendary monsters and creatures woven by the campfire. Except, of course, all of these are very real!

The Lost Omens is the route I've been most excited about, so getting two movies in the same month is the best holiday gift people can ask for!

With Paizo HQ launching all these great content, now is a good time to become a fan of Starfinder or Pathfinder. At some point in the next few weeks, I may give up my review of "The Lost Omen: Absalom, the Lost City of Omen." When you consider the details of the Grand Bazaar, it is about to become the most fulfilling city in Golarion!

Have fun at your table and stay safe!

[Disclosure: Paizo provided a copy of the Bestiary 3 battle card, hero point deck, the power of the adventure road of a thousand people, and the vision of the road of the vase adventure in exchange for an honest preview. ]
