Bicycle launches its first NFT series, transforming iconic playing cards into the next 1000 years

ERLANGER, Kentucky, December 9, 2021/PRNewswire/ - Since its founding in 1885, the Bicycle brand has boldly stepped into areas that other playing cards have never set foot in, and today launched its first NFT "Genesis Series". Including the brand's iconic card by artist Adrian Valenzuela turning the year 1000 into the future. Genesis Collection will exclusively sell 24 NFTs from December 9th to the end of this month.

A distinctive feature of Genesis Collection is that the owner will start a collector journey with Bicycle, from continuous support to benefits, including participation in exclusive events, pre-sales, and whitelisting of future Bicycle NFTs, thereby becoming a virtual member of this elite club Bicycle collector. Buyers will have an additional benefit of choosing to receive a physical copy of the NFT purchased in the primary sale (this benefit does not apply to NFT buyers in the secondary market).

Bicycle collectors and enthusiasts will initially have the opportunity to bid for the unique NFT ("Unique Collection") through the auction on www.Kolectiv.gg, a carefully curated NFT market with the largest NFT drop from the world's leading artists. Ace's 10 cards and Jokers will be grouped by suit and dropped every few days, while Jokers will drop when potential buyers least expect it. The minimum bid for each Unique Collection NFT is 0.5 ETH, and subsequent bid increments are 0.1 ETH. 

On December 16, Bicycle will release its 8008 NFT merchandise, including an animation card holder and a unique mint number from 1 to 8008. This will be the main product of the Genesis series ("Main Series"). Each NFT in the Main Collection will be sold for 0.08 ETH and can be purchased in cryptocurrency or U.S. dollars through the Shopify plugin. The 32 randomly selected buyers of the main series will receive one of the remaining 32 NFTs in the unique series (cards from 2 to 9) in place of the main series card box NFT.

Genesis Collection will host an exclusive event at the LUME studio in New York, where media, influencers and potential buyers will be invited to spend an immersive magic night with Bicycle executives and unveil the NFT.
