United Way in Effingham County held the 2021 Thanksgiving and Donation Community Lucky Draw via Facebook Live on Wednesday.

The Special Events Committee and the Board of Directors thank those who donated to the lucky draw and congratulate the winners:

The proceeds from the United Way Thanks and Donation Lucky Draw will be used for the 2021 event, which has a goal of 320,000 USD. United Way provides funding to 21 local health and public service agencies in Effingham County. These cooperative organizations include: Altamont After School Program, Andrew Gobczynski Big Heart Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boy Scouts of America-Lincoln Trails Council, Catholic Charities, CEFS Literacy Program, Eastern Illinois Children’s Advocacy Center, Effingham Child Development Center, Effingham County FISH Human Services, Effingham County Search and Rescue, Enduring Freedom Ministries, Christian Athletes Fellowship-Greater Effingham Region, Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois, Heartland Human Services, CEFS Meals on Wheels, Hope United, Effingham County Advanced Services, Sexual Assault and Family Emergencies (SAFE), Strategic Training and Recovery (STAR), Immediately Stop Women Abuse (SWAN), and Unit 40 Counselling Program.
