Developer Turtle Rock Studios has released the full patch notes for the Back 4 Blood November 2021 update, which is now live. The new update has made dozens of balance changes to the game’s campaign and Swarm PvP mode-most notably, the effects of some of the best cards in Back 4 Blood have been adjusted.

In general, it is a healthy combination of gain and weakening, affecting more than a dozen different cards. Although Turtle Rock didn't say that directly, these adjustments seem to be specifically for melee-focused builds, which are some of the hardest decks you can make in Back 4 Blood. The changes to the card are listed below.

In addition to the adjustments to the cards, the November 2021 update also enhances certain rides in the campaign (most notably, destroying the ogre’s chest weakness now only causes an additional 500 points for the mutant ride Damage instead of the original 2000), against melee weapons, and implemented dozens of bug fixes. The update also changes the way the new cleaner is unlocked. Doc, Karlee, Hoffman, and Jim are now available from the beginning-it is no longer necessary to complete the opening campaign chapter of Back 4 Blood to unlock the entire roster. The full list of changes made in the update is detailed below.
