Lorraine O. Wysocki, 85, of Salem, formerly of Plaistow, NH and Hampton, NH, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022. She was born in Plymouth, NH on August 11, 1937, daughter of the late Clarence J. and Hilda E. (Bilodeau) DesRoches.

Lorraine graduated from Punchard High School, Andover, MA in 1955 and graduated with a Secretarial Sciences degree from Merrimack College in 1957. Prior to lovingly raising her four children, she was employed as Executive Assistant at Merrimack College, Douglas Howe Insurance Agency, and AVCO.

While residing in Plaistow for thirty six years, she was a communicant and served as Eucharistic Minister and CCD teacher of Holy Angels Church. After moving to Hampton in 2000, she was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish where she served as Eucharistic Minister, Stephens Minister, Bible Study leader, and Wednesday Adoration participant. Lorraine counseled teenagers at the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Haverhill, MA for twelve years. She fundraised for Telephone Pioneers of America for refurbishment of the Statue of Liberty, and she supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Special Olympics and many other non-profits.

Lorraine began piano lessons at age of six. She enjoyed playing for her school and a local dance studio during recitals at a young age. Throughout the years, she participated in many piano recitals. During holidays she enjoyed playing for her family at home. She attended classical piano training at Oberlin College and Conservatory in OH. She later mastered pieces by music composers Chopin, Mozart and Beethoven.

Lorraine enjoyed summers in Hampton, NH at the beach with her beloved family and friends, as well as traveling to Hilton Head Island, SC and Bar Harbor, ME. She attended several sports memorabilia shows throughout New England with her husband, Bob, representing his business Keystone Cards and Collectibles. She was a proud Presenter of both the 2021 and 2022 W. Robert Wysocki Campership Award, congratulating recipients and their families at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Haverhill.

Lorraine was predeceased by the love of her life, W. Robert “Bob” Wysocki, whom she shared 61 years of joy, spirit, life and love and also daughters Carolyn Wysocki and Nancy Lohmeyer. Their family reunion in Heaven will be glorious.

Lorraine adored her family members which include her children Robert “Bob” Wysocki and wife Allie of Canton, GA and Laurie Dumont and husband Duane of Atkinson, NH; son in law Norman Lohmeyer of McLeansville, NC; grandchildren Monique Maness and husband Nicolas, Hans Lohmeyer and wife Cassandra, Abbey, Matthew, Samuel and Hannah Wysocki, and Lauren and Andrew Dumont; great grandchildren Josiah, Isaiah, Silas and Miles Maness and Elli Lohmeyer; sister Rhoda Kneeland and husband Dan; brothers Russell DesRoches and wife Bobbie and Neal DesRoches and wife Doreen.

Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH.
