Flint, Michigan-Flint Handmade Company will host a craft market this weekend to help residents meet their holiday shopping needs.

The holiday craft market is scheduled to be held at the Flint Farmers Market (300 E. 1st St., located in downtown Flint) from 10 am to 3 pm on November 27 (Saturday).

The market will have more than 20 local craftsmen offering unique modern handmade products, such as vintage-style jewelry, hand-poured candles, holiday decorations and decorations, natural bath and body products, wooden signs, knitted and crocheted items, greeting cards, etc. Etc., according to a press release hand-crafted by Flint.

Some of the suppliers in the event include Bardon Cottage, Jamie's Chocolates, Elle Jae Essentials, Flint Candle Co., Hyde Park Home, Kari Wolf Designs, Sista Girl greeting cards, etc.

"We are very happy to be back in person this year!" Crystal Pepperdine, Executive Director of Flint Handmade, said in a press release. “We can’t wait for shoppers to visit our new location in the Ramsdell Room at the Flint Farmers’ Market. We are also very excited about our new VIP early bird shopping time!”

The VIP early bird shopping time is from 9 am to 10 am, and the fee is $5 per person. Only 150 tickets are available and must be purchased online at Eventbrite here.

The general admission time is from 10 am to 3 pm, and there is still a fee of $1 per person. The exact change of the door is appreciated.

Also new this year are live music performances by Erik McIntyre and Shannon Wade, who will play retro jazz, blues and festival standards.

"People can shop with us all day, enjoy live music, have lunch at the farmers market, and visit all the wonderful shops in downtown Flint," Pepperdine said. "This is a great way to support locals in small businesses on Saturday."

For health and safety reasons, according to the news released, Ramsdell Room will need to wear a mask.
